Roma, Europe’s largest minority, have long experienced poor living environments and social, human rights and economic discrimination leading to poor health, shorter life expectancy and greater mortality. Responses to the COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated their vulnerability, highlighting significant barriers to Roma equality and inclusion.

Join the European Public Health Alliance for an online dialogue between policy makers, Roma and non-Roma civil society, researchers, academia, health professionals and advocates to increase health equity through holistic and comprehensive policy solutions; and to mark the launch of the Roma Health Network, which aims to support the participation of Roma civil society in the development, implementation and monitoring of public policies impacting Roma, particularly public health, across the European Union.

The event will be held online on the 15th of June.
